Home at Word Up by Becky Fullan Illustrated by Sandy Jimenez, 2016

We joined the Word Up Collective for a dramatic reading of their bilingual children's book, Home at Word Up: A Story of a Bookshop in Washington Heights. With the help of her aunt and some new friends, a little girl finds a place where she can tell her story. Home at Word Up is a tale of finding and building community anywhere you live. After this performance children produced art inspired by the performance.
