Griots in Concert combine music, song and storytelling in an inspirational and educational show for all ages. A “Griot” is the French term for the oral historians or storytellers of West Africa.

Rachael Harrington Presents Waking Up!

The first touches of spring are in the air and you’ve made it through the long, cold winter! Come celebrate with a storytelling concert all about spring and the joy that it brings. Storyteller Rachael Harrington will take you on a journey through budding meadows to meet characters waking up from their long winter naps, emerging from their cocoons, and waking up to a sense of newness in their lives.

TeatroSEA Presents César Chávez

The play celebrates the life and legacy of the Mexican-American labor activist César Chávez. His early life as well as his partnership with Dolores Huerta, activism with the National Farm Workers Association, the 1968 grape boycott, and his ongoing commitment to nonviolent civil rights work.

La obra celebra la vida y el legado del activista laboral mexicano-estadounidense César Chávez. Su vida temprana, así como su asociación con Dolores Huerta, el activismo con la Asociación Nacional de Trabajadores Agrícolas, el boicot de la uva de 1968 y su compromiso continuo con el trabajo no violento por los derechos civiles.
