Through a variety of out-of-this-world, animated videos designed for young children, the Imagining Futures Workshop invited people to think about our place in the universe in unlimited ways using space themed activities and artmaking.

We celebrated our Main Gallery mural, The Pollen Catchers’ Color Mixing Machine, by exploring artist Saya Woolfalk’s interest in time travel, outer space and the idea of Afrofuturism. With out-of-this-world, animated videos for children, this special workshop invited us to think about the future in unlimited ways, with space-themed activities and artmaking.
