In celebration of the Museum's latest exhibition Shinique Smith: Secret Garden Laughing Place, we will stage a theatrical delivery of Seed Folks, a veggie filled journey that explores the beauty of diversity within a small community. After this program, all are invited to create art inspired by the program.
About Story Time: Tales on Sugar Hill
Grounded in a curatorial mission to share stories through theater, music, dance and visual art, as well as oral and literary forms, Story Times: Tales on Sugar Hill presents tales, fables, histories and myths that genuinely reflect the diverse ethnic and cultural milieu of our surroundings. Held every second Saturday of each month, each presentation includes a participatory art activity facilitated by teaching artists, so children not only experience other’s stories, but also reflect on what they see and hear, and create and share their own stories.
