Explorations of "The American Dream" - Art workshop & Panel Discussion based on our new exhibition "Frederick J. Brown: Dreams and the Possibility of..."

Join us as the Museum partners with The Harlem Arts Alliance to close out Harlem Arts Advocacy Month with an event featuring the Museum’s new exhibition Frederick J. Brown: Dreams and the Possibility of…. The event will feature a panel discussion unpacking the intersections of family, theatre & the “American Dream” with award winning actors from the Broadway play “THE GREAT SOCIETY”, Grantham Coleman, Ty Jones, Nikkole Salter and Trammell Tillman. Along with the writer of the play, Pulitzer award winner ROBERT SCHENKKAN. The discussion will be preceded by a family focused coloring workshop led by local artist & storyteller Alethia Brown.

Guided tours of the exhibition will also be provided for interested guests following the program along with opportunities for attendees to register for special edition library cards in partnership with the NY Public Library.

This special panel discussion & workshop is free with admission to the Museum.
