Thomas Hecht Ribas is a Brazilian-American fabric-based sculptor based in Brooklyn, New York. He earned his MFA at the School of Visual Arts in 2023 and his thesis project entitled “Homestretch” earned the Paula Rhodes Memorial Award. He has an undergraduate degree in Architecture from the Southern California Institute of Architecture, and this technical training is the backbone of his art practice.
